Jordan Godwin
Jordan Godwin is an executive, strategic advisor, and transformational leader who believes that great organizations are built by investing in people, creating clarity, and making difficult decisions with integrity. Throughout his career, Jordan has been driven by a simple philosophy: organizations should fulfill their mission by rooting in direction, alignment, and commitment.
Jordan currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Valley Health Care, one of West Virginia's federally qualified health centers. Since assuming the CEO role in 2018, he has led the organization through an extraordinary period of growth and transformation. Under his leadership, Valley Health Care has grown from approximately 40 employees to more than 150, while annual revenues have increased from approximately $6 million to more than $26 million. During that same time, the organization expanded access to care through new primary care locations, behavioral health services, pharmacy, optometry, and other integrated healthcare services while investing in new facilities designed to meet the evolving needs of rural communities.
Through disciplined financial stewardship, operational redesign, strategic recruitment, service expansion, and thoughtful capital planning, he helped position the organization for sustainable growth while remaining focused on its mission.
Jordan's leadership extends well beyond financial performance. He has successfully led executive teams through organizational redesign, mergers and acquisitions, governance improvements, strategic planning initiatives, operational turnarounds, executive succession planning, and large-scale capital projects. He is known for building high-performing leadership teams, establishing clear decision-making frameworks, and creating cultures grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
As a consultant and executive advisor, Jordan brings practical experience rather than theory. Having personally navigated many of the challenges facing organizations—including workforce shortages, financial pressures, regulatory complexity, operational inefficiencies, and rapid organizational growth, he partners with boards, executive teams, and leaders to develop practical strategies that produce measurable results.
